Dear Friends and Family in Christ,
May I take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy and blessed New Year 2012. A year overflowing with the supernatural power and glorious presence of the Holy Ghost! May you be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Our God is a good and faithful God. He can do anything at any time. He has the ability to accomplish whatever our mind can conceive. He has the ability to create and reinvent all things, everything, anything. Whether the situation is too good, God has the ability to bring it to a new level. If it's too bad, God has the ability to upgrade and update it. With God nothing is impossible. With God all things are possible. And to him who believes, all things are possible. It's possible because he believes not only in the unlimited ability of the Almighty God, but also, in the unlimited ability of the Almighty God that resides within himself (Ephesians 3v20).
It's one thing to believe that God can do it by His power and ability. But it's another thing to believe that the power and ability of God to do all things are right within us as believers. Church, the power within you can do all that God desires of you and for you. The power within you can take you to the level that God wants you to be. The power within you can keep you holy until the coming of Jesus Christ. Jesus is coming soon, even sooner than you know, had thought or might have been taught. But make no mistake: Jesus Christ is coming for a holy and pure church. A church cleansed and freed from sin.
It's time we lived a holy life for the Lord. It's time we cleansed ourselves from the sin that so easily entangles us. It's time we threw off everything that hinders us from walking in holiness. It's time we lived sacrificial lives for the sake of Jesus. It's time we prayed louder still, fixing our minds on the Lord's plans and purposes.
It's time we persevered in the call of God upon our lives, believing and abounding in the works of faith. It's time we reprioritized our goals and objectives, giving spiritual energy to those centered on Christ.
Many have failed the Lord but you, don't fail Him too. Don't fail Him this time. Many have known the will of God but rejected it because it didn't suit their way; it didn't suit their timing; it didn't suit their religious expectation. They say they don't fully know the will of God and cry out that they want to know. But they have forgotten that they have not done anything with what they knew. It's to the one who has something that much is given. And to him that much is given, much is also required of him. What have you done with the "Something" you have? What have you done with that tiny portion of God's will you know about your life? Don't reject Him this time. Don't fail Him too.
Sometimes, you might not actually know all that you seek to know about the will of God for your life, for your ministry, for your project, but you don't reject or undermind His will totally because of the light that's yet unknown to you. Rather, walk in the light of the little you know concerning His will. The thing you may call insignificant might astound you. It might be the very door that leads to the light you desire. Do something about the small things you know. Do something about the "Small will of God" which will help you to understand the "Bigger picture or the full will of God". Do what you know now, for what you know is a stepping stone to what's unknown. I said, a stepping stone, did you hear that? Yes, a stepping stone, a bridge. But that stone would never bridge you if you never stepped upon it; if you never did anything about it; if you never took any action towards your destiny. Don't reject Him this time. Don't fail Him too.
There's a mighty wind, a wind of tests and trials blowing across nations. It will impact ministries and will affect ministries. Some would dry up. Some would slim down. Some would shut down. But some would endure and increase. These are those who are sure of their calling. These are those who walk in holiness. These are those who walk in My Word. They shall endure for they walk by faith and are firm in the Lord their God. It takes walking by faith to go through the wind with victory. You might see nothing or sense nothing but keep on walking because of what you believe. It takes walking by faith to go through the wind with victory. Keep on advancing, despite the difficulties. That's the walk of faith. Don't expect to be appreciated by loved ones. Don't believe in their praises. Don't let the words of men determine your next actions of faith. Keep on advancing, even if you're not welcomed. Keep on advancing, even if you are not well spoken of. Keep on advancing, whether people like it or not, keep moving and moving and moving forward. That is the walk of faith. Only those who walk by faith shall endure in the Land.
